Web is Dead. (1997) - Absurd.org
personally I think the 404 error is more interesting than the text that was intended to be there

wow great link, I love those really dense chaotic images although a bit more variety in the forms and marks would be great

The world is already dense with noise, why not create new meaning rather than destroy it? Can a glitch be optimistic? We create meaning by finding and interpreting the signal or information within noise, noise for noise sake seems nihilistic.
Without some re-purposing of the glitch its digital anarchy, sometimes there's some formal or comical appeal just by happenstance , it would be interesting to automate some form of glitch millions of times and then create a website that people could rate the potential meaning or value in the glitch to sort all of the noise out ALA the infinite monkey theorem

MFA programs
What graduate programs do you think have the best digital media / new media / multidisciplinary practices ? The last conversation on this topic seems to be from 2004
I have been looking at UC Santa Barbara's Digital Media MFA program

and CAL Arts Integrated Media

as well as their Art & Technology program
