Having a great Christmas morning begins with selecting stocking stuffers for kids that are fun. If you have the extra time, wrapping each one adds to the excitement. Make sure you also include a variety of items as each one is like a treasure to be discovered.
All kids expect some type of treat or candy. Standard traditions are candy canes, chocolate, and lifesavers. There are many items that children now get that are unique such as Santa’s coal bubble gum, magic milk straws, peppermint ring suckers, and pop rocks. If you can find unique items, be sure to include as this will add to the fun.
Small gag gifts are a nice addition as this will get the kids giggling. Whoopee cushions, slinky glasses, fake teeth, nose pencil sharpeners are all examples. As you may have noticed, kids often find humor in bathroom or body humor.
In order to get filled Christmas stockings , pick stuffers that are size appropriate so there are at least 10-15 stocking stuffers. Large items should just go under the tree as a gift instead of stuffing it. Other items should include their individual interests, science educational related, consumables, small crafts, gift certificates, magazines or activity books, and a hobby related stocking stuffer.
