If Eve was done from an Adam rib (!) - http://arteonline.arq.br/eva/ , why
not to build the Great Earth Mother Cyborg from the Helen's femur stem? It
is really a new story! ;-) Is not it?
In fact, in Portuguese, the word Earth belongs to feminine gender, do not be
sad because the word sea, belongs to masculine gender.
Please, send me your men or women's chip because the Great Earth Mother
Cyborg is being built to love both genders, she is being built with much
Ethics, because, perhaps, she will be the future of our planet and it is the
oportunity we have to create the planet of our dreams. So that send me your
"poetry chip", "mickey mouse chip", "i love new york chip", "coca-cola light
forever chip" (I love it!), "gospels chip", woody allen chip", "jazz chip,
"samba chip", ipanema chip, "paris chip", "tango chip", ..., ... send me the
chip of what you appreciate in our old and full of pain world. But please,
do not send me guns or war or lack of respect with nature. The Great Earth
Mother Cyborg is a peaceful proposal.
Send me your chips to be installed into the head of the "Great Earth Mother
Cyborg".
(images, animations or movies > maximum: 100 pixels x 100 pixels, poems, >
+ - 3 lines or mp3 sounds)
To receive lots of chips would be really great!
Send your chip to arteonline.museum@gmail.com
Have a peaceful day,
Regina

The New Project Saturday Flashes is starting with the work Book of Roofs by Josely Carvalho
Dear all,
Today the "Museum of the Essential and Beyond That" is launching the
project: Saturday Flashes
Every Saturday we will be featuring one of the artists of the museum. The
first one choosen is Josely Carvalho (Brazil)
Pay attention on her very nice designed and programmed work: BOOK OF ROOFS
BOOK OF ROOFS is a media/installation project that includes an interactive
website and print/video/sound installations. The project's foundation is
built on the traditional colonial-style clay roof tile, basic in the
construction of Brazilian dwellings. With no true beginning or ending, the
website architecture of BOOK OF ROOFS simulates the continuous backbreaking
labor of tile workers. The turtle, as an interface, guides the user in the
construction of a a new tile for this cybernetic roof.
