Astrea El Jaick
Photos of Salvador Folklore Parades that joined with fragments of Raymundo Amado Goncalves poetry*, produced a very poetic and contemporary narrative.
Dea Junqueira
Poetic pixel painting is the best definition for the Dea Junqueira's dream. Attention for the colors!
3- Winter News
Caroline CHIC
Research of the movement, the movement of the man and Nature through pictures (of long poses ), exploring the ambiguity between fixed and movemented, sometimes frustating the spectator, some times surprising him/her.
Christina Della Giustina:
The " Diary of Water" is a collection of images and texts, taken and
written daily in different locations. However the Diary of Water continues. Water always keeps on trying to get back to where it comes from.
Eric Collet
A tragic and real "carte de voueux 2004". It expresses perfectly our time in its raw and minimal criticism. Collet's Design gets that message just changing two letters of the very well-known: Happy New Year.
4-Links to projects that have impressed us lately: (AMAZING!)
"ART IF I WANT " BY NICOLAS CLAUSS
"REPERCUSSION" by Carla Diana
The website of the PLASTIC ARTIST from BAHIA/Brazil, JAYME FYGURA

Invite for a ride
Hello all,
Browser at: http://arteonline.arq.br/rio_de_janeiro .
You will have opportunity of doing a ride by the old Rio de Janeiro's Docks District and adjacencies. Appreciate their contrasts and curiosities. Reflect on borders' meanings today.
The project was accomplished by Marcelo Frazao, Paulo Villela and myself in 2001. This edition which we are introducing was revised and improved. Also this project was one of the elements in which we base for the creation of Museum of the Essential and Beyond That in 2002.
"The eye does not see things, but rather the images of things which mean other things. The gaze travels along streets as if they were written pages." (Italo Calvino)
What would the real city lying underneath this symbol studded dome actually be like? A boundary?
