Rebecca Ward (b. 1984, Waco, Texas). Rebecca Ward lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received her BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin and her MFA from the School of Visual Arts, New York, where was award the Fine Arts award.  She has exhibited extensively in the United States and Europe, including at Maurizio Cattelan’s New York Gallery, Family Business.  Her solo exhibitions include shows at Ronchini Gallery, London, UK, Contemporary Art Museum, Raleigh, NC, and Finesilver Gallery, Houston, TX. Her group exhibitions have included Mixed Greens, New York, NY, Family Business, New York, NY, Museum for Image and Sound, Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Austin Museum of Art, Austin, TX. She has had a number of commissions and public projects, including Stella McCartney, New York, Kate Spade Tokyo and Design Trust for Public Space, New York. Upcoming 2013 solo exhibitions include Barbara Davis Gallery, Houston, TX and East Hampton Shed, East Hampton, NY and a group exhibition at APERTO gallery in St. Petersburg, Russia.
