The ATE conference (art, technology, experience) is a one-day event presented by the Dynamic Media Institute at MassArt and AIGA Boston. It is a forum of artists/practitioners (filmmakers, performers, dancers, musicians, designers, writers, and illustrators) as well as theorists in culture, education, architecture, and philosophy.

The ATE conference is a collaboration, a dialog, a discourse, a lecture, a performance, a multi-disciplinary experiment, a multi-sensory experience and, for all of us, " ... a process of subliminally sniffing out environmental change." (Marshall McLuhan)

The ATE conference explores where we are, and what we EAT as a culture with regard to new media. It will be about ideas. No shameless self-promotion is allowed. You will feel that you ATE plenty.

Teresa Marrin Nakra, Artistic Director of Immersion Music, Inc., conductor, composer, and inventor of the "Digital Baton" and other digital technologies for musicians

Joanna Kurkowicz, Violinist, Concertmistress of the Boston Philharmonic, the Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and the Vermont Symphony

Sangita Shresthova, Dancer/Choreographer. Trained in Kathmandu, her performances incorporate visual projections and sound into Nepalese dance movements
