Open to Beyond: Structures Without Given Confines (2006)

My wife, Ginger Wolfe, and I have been working collaboratively on a series of installations based on our research and critique of the geographical location of the Joshua Tree community. Our works begin as drawings and computer- generated models created in 3-D. We take these studies to embark on a constructed analysis of material culture. The first two of these works will be exhibited as a solo project at High Desert Test Sites. The Press of Image and Theory will publish the resulting catalogue in 2007. I recieved my MFA from UCLA in 2000, and have since exhibited my work extensively. Ginger studied conceptual art and became a founding editor of InterReview Journal in 2003. We have both been teaching undergraduate classes in art/architecture/critical practice in the Los Angeles area.
