DISCUSSION

Home Turf

Home Turf is a series of short creative documentaries that were produced in south London during the summer of 2003. These seven provocative films are the result of collaborations between community groups and desperate optimists. The groups selected range from a Latin American Saturday school, through a homeless person's resource centre to a youth training scheme in Brixton.

The films have now been selected by the British Film Institute to be included in the national archives of film and video.

You can watch the films online by visiting the new media, film and digital arts site, Moving South, which will be hosting more specially commissioned new media projects in the future. If you are based in south London you can add your contact details to our online directory, add links to our links page and post news of events, screenings, funding etc to the forum.
