Parallel Studios has been producing, curating and designing small and large scale CURRENTS video exhibitions in Santa Fe since 2002. We utilize both public venues and gallery settings. Our emphasis is on artist's innovative use of new technology as a platform for expression and artistic exploration.

currents 2011 will open June 10 and run through June 19. The annual Santa Fe International New Media Festival is a citywide event held in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.
currents 2011 will explore the role of technology and the diverse application of new media in the arts.
This year we are expanding the submission possibilities to include not only animation and video based new media, but sound, gaming, website development and multi-media performance.

While SITE Santa Fe's exhibit will focus on video art and its integration of other media, the currents 2010 exhibition is designed to broaden the conversation about the current trends in experimental video art.
