e-Vent 2 Intolerance
Deadline:
Mon Jan 21, 2008 00:00
This is a call for art works to be exhibited at e-Vent 2 which will take place on February 14-15-16 at Emergence the gallery @ DUO in the East Village, NYC. At the first e-vent last month artists and gallery goers were invited to vent their feelings and thoughts on the current administration, global warming, the war in Iraq, the health crisis etc. We provided white walls, markers and chalk and invited audiences to vent. At e-Vent all political points of view are welcomed. We had an overwhelming response. We now have bright new white walls ready for e-Vent 2.
The theme for e-Vent 2 is Intolerance. We are seeking works that deal with intolerance (racial, sexual, religious, ageism, economic etc.) Selected works will be exhibited. The audience will also be invited to use the open space between art works to express their own thoughts. Please feel free to forward this email to any artist you may know who might be interested in showing. It can be in any format, video, digital, sculpture, photograph, traditional.
Artists wishing to be exhibited can contact me at: Michelangelo duotheatre@gmail.com
