BIO
Studied Architecture at the Technical University of Graz from 2002 until 2008. He spent 3 years studying in Spain (Universidad Polytecnica Valencia), Venezuela (Universidad Central de Venezuela) and Belgium, where he joined a Masterclass for live audiovisual art at CIMATICS in 2007-08. From 2004 to 2005 he worked as a study assistent to Hans Kupelwieser at the institute for contemporary art (Technical University, Graz).Michael Langeder`s work covers a wide range from Art to Architecture - from furniture and interiors to architectural and urban speculations, media installations and live visual performances. A main characteristic stays the dialog between analog and digital space, light and darkness and the public domain as field of experimentation. Recent comissions include clients such as Supremebeing / ICC Distribution, Jean Paul Gaultier / Villa Eugenie or Michael Fakesch / K7 records / fluctuating images.
