Lisa Skuret is a London based artist and writer. One of her central concerns is knowledge production, and her practice investigates methodologies and techniques from various disciplines often though live work. Skuret works both independently and collectively with international art research groups. She recently (2010-12) worked with Vision Forum (Linköpings University, Sweden) on a practice-led group research project in London with six others (theorists, curators, artists, writers, and a practising GP), and in 2013-14 is an Open School East associate artist. In parallel to her art practice, she contributes writing to international visual culture magazines. Skuret’s recent exhibitions and live events have taken place at a Swedenborgian Church in London; a Museum of Work in Sweden; Spike Island, Bristol; PEER Gallery, London; Parasol Unit, London; David Roberts Art Foundation, London; and MoMA PS1 in New York.
