Leah Wolff (born 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio) lives and works in New York City. She attended The Rhode Island School of Design, earning her BFA with honors in Printmaking in 2006. Her work has been featured in two solo and many group exhibitions throughout the U.S.A. Wolff's most recent installation is a museum-style display at the Dirt Palace, in Providence, Rhode Island. She makes works on paper, along with sculptures that utilize many mediums including ceramics, plaster, polymer clay, acrylic, glass and wood. For her, the creative process is a pseudo-scientific experiment. Each piece operates as a cosmic map that depicts our cognitive shortcoming in the face of infinity.
