BIO
I have been interested for quite a while in the creative uses of video, photography, computer art, digital collage, and electronic music to create alternative histories and fictive spaces. While I am a biochemist and lawyer by training and vocation, my passion lies in using technology and science in the visual arts, electronic music, and digital literature.
My project in video and photography is not only to create harmonies in collage based on irregular movement, shapes, apparent textures, and colors but to use my own photos with found footage to hijack the intended or apparent narratives of that footage and create new ones that evolve through contrasts, scene-to-scene, and are further misdirected by the music, which has varied from jazz/trip-hop, ambient, and more recently, dubstep.
