Independent choreographer, performer and media artist, she has worked since 1981 in collaboration with visual artists, musicians, performance directors and video artists in art works that create dynamic interpersonal relationship engaging the body. She has taken part in telecommunication and technology based art works, exhibitions, lectures and coordinated conferences and workshops in Brazil and internationally. In 2007 she has been awarded the Prêmio Sergio Motta de Arte e Tecnologia and the Artist Links-British Council artist residency bursary for her in-progress project http://www.bodyweave.net
