Kieran is a lecturer with the Section of Creative Media at Dundalk Institute of Technology's School of Informatics and Creative Arts, and a PhD researcher with the Arts Technology Research Lab at Trinity College, Dublin.
He spent half of his childhood playing Commodore 64 games and the other half waiting for them to load. His teaching and research work incorporates hardware hacking, open source media, and vintage computer systems alongside paper based concept development, to explore interface design, digital aesthetics, and videogame culture.
