Previously curator at peterborough digital arts, Askham now works independently and collaboratively on arts projects that explore the social implications of technology and communications networks. Current project Cubed,(2009/10) which he is working on together with Luke Hastilow, is a commission by UK based arts organisation Folly. Previous projects include the touring exhibition Game/Play and the installation Aquaplayne.
