Boxing Memories is a web-based piece involving time and memory, appearance and disappearance. Clocks tick, things morph; children vanish into grandparents, grandparents vanish into children; hair grows and is cut; a super-8 movie burrows into the past like a miner's light. The personal ground of self-portraiture and memory is used as just a starting point for explorations into the larger issues of what it might mean to be human, starting from the then and there, pushed into the here and now.
