Evren Uzer is a curious mind working on urban issues. She is currently based in New York, her academic work is focused on disaster related risks, public participation and public space interventions and she carries a socially engaged art practice within art collaboration, roomservices (www.roomservices.org). She holds a PhD in urban planning on cultural heritage at risk and co-founder of Istanbul based public space initiative imkanmekan (www.imkanmekan.org)
