After receiving his Bachelor of Science in engineering in Istanbul, Turkey, where he was also involved in the Metal music scene, Emre Balik decided to combine both interests with the theoretical approach offered by Media Studies at the New School University. He worked as an assistant engineer at the Doghouse NYC Recording Studio, lending his hands and ears to a variety of musical styles. Most recently, he is involved as a sound artist in RPM
