I studied architecture for two years at the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas UPC before I initiated my art studies in the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes Corriente Alterna, were I graduated in 2005 receiving a Gold and Silver Medal for excellence. My beginnings in architecture gave direction to my interests in the visual arts field. Architecture became one of the fundamental matters of concern through my art studies and now underpins the concepts and aesthetics of my work.
