Full Description
HaikuTree.org is intended to help computers write better poetry. Users collaborate with the server placing generated haiku on a virtual tree. These haiku are then subject to anonymous judgment from all users and steady weathering. Each haiku is ranked in real-time; only the most popular and enduring haiku survive. Interfaces will be added to HaikuTree.org so generative and sorting functions may be done in many contexts. Today it is possible to interact with the tree from the website as well as voice menus on a telephone.
