Since she is concerned with the effect of the messages she helps to develop and produce, her goal is to keep exploring and researching how different elements, such as colors, sounds, scents, textures, words, and forms, trigger different human behaviors. She believes that the mass media should not only inform and entertain, but also should contribute to the health of all the senses, helping and nurturing humankind emotionally, psychologically and physically.
While a student at Harvard University, Diciembre twice exhibited her artwork in the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts. In addition, she also was an art assistant in the Annual Cambridge River Festival. Her work is intended to stimulate viewers by engaging them in a complex sensory and perceptual way. She hopes she will be able to influence others who produce public messages to also use a variety of media to positively affect humankind.
