Deanne Sokolin is a photographer and new media artist whose work is part of an ongoing exploration of Jewish identity. Her photographs has been widely exhibited and are in several major collections including Harvard University's Fogg Museum.
She has taught photography and computer art at Marlboro College, Princeton University, and The School of Visual Arts. Born and raised in New York, she lives with her family in Brooklyn and is represented by The Bernard Toale Gallery. Her work was included in "Only Skin Deep" at the International Center of Photography last year.
