Most changes in the world around us go unnoticed. As computers and
cameras become ubiquitous, artists are becoming more and more
interested in unearthing these changes.

Time-distorted video, once only possible with expensive and specialized
equipment, can now be realized with commonly found hardware.
Photography provides a single view of a subject; video provides a view
of that subject’s evolution forward in time. But when that traditional
video view’s temporal linearity is distorted using a computer as a
tool, the nature of the subject is demonstrated in a completely
different and frequently surprising fashion. The use of layered image
over time is becoming increasingly important not only in the creation
of video, but also as a tool in interactive ‘physical computing’
installations.

this season we will not be accepting individual tape / only
artist-curated episodes
we want every participating (artist-curator) to create their own brand
of SnackOnArt episode forTV broadcast ...

strategy:
serious experimental video artists can now curate actual episodes for
SnackOnArt / experimental video art TV (since 1997) . presentation will
not be re-edited or tempered with, each episodes will be exhibited on
the air as is

the works exhibited must be artistically innovative. curated episodes
will be selected on the basis of the originality of the works, in
relation to new presentation formats. (express yur self)

formula:
each episode must include at least five different artists

select artists in your community whom you feel are good & innovative
enough to show next to your own work. from your collection create as
many episodes as you want. 5 minutes max per video.

create your own logo interpretation on SnackOnArt

intro(logo) + body(videos plus 2 short ads) + end(logo) = 28 min
