Full Description
Zetamaze is played in-browser with the actions of each visitor affecting the experience of others who play the game after them. Each visitor is equally empowered to share their artwork and ideas by utilizing the unique methods of collaborative construction, mark making, and file sharing that the project presents. With it, the artist has created a space and a proposition; however, the project itself lives and grows on the web driven by the creative decisions of those who participate.

Artist Statement
As an artist dealing with interactive media I facilitate the creative progression of an online audience through the works that I make. My design of Zetamaze, in a way, intends to place the wooden barriers that encase a sandbox. The goal is to create a situation that encourages online communication and collaboration in a setting that presents older ideas in truly contemporary ways. These concepts, most notably, are ones of anonymous file sharing, mark making and virtual graffiti, and regarding the medium of video gaming itself; the value and process of item collection.
These ideas overshadow their accessible platform; the maze. Zetamaze is meant to be fun and playable by all, but to present meaning and depth to those who look for it.
