Broken|Branch is a gamemod collaborative that executes concept clones + game hacks to question the political ambivalence of big-business game production. This collaboration consists of Chicago based artist Mark Beasley (http://mark-beasley.com), Tamas Kemenczy (http://copythatfloppy.net) and Nicholas O'Brien(http://doubleunderscore.net). This collaboration emerges from a collective engagement with games as a social communication platform. Broken|Branch approaches art games through critically engaging and combining creative methods of gamemods, the Demoscene, and tactical media.
