BIO
Aste Amundsen is a performance artist, novelty-act aerialist and theatre maker. She has been producing and designing experimental performance events and acts for many years and has a special interest in utilising unusual audience relationships. Over the years she has created a series of shows based around games -most recently the Apocalypse Gameshow. She was one of the founders of Glastonbury Festivals notorious underground pianobar, has been known to hang upside down on a rope singing Jacques Brel songs and playing the accordion, and was one of the founders of Dublin arts collective Spacecraft.

As one half of the Amundsen & Slade Sonic Sideshow she performs in a wearable-tech sideshow featuring a musical theme and audience interactive, adversarial games. She is also responsible for the design of the latest retrofuturistic incarnation of the Soulsuit wearable-tech costumes.

In 2006 she won a years artist salary from the Norwegian arts council
