In the history of art, there has always been created a lot of triptychs. This image is the third part of a triptych to reflect our present age.
The title and the image together creates an echo of the overall message of the work. The spectator quickly realises that it is a commentary on the disappearance of meaning that many post modern thinkers have expressed (mainly Jean Baudrillard). The constant copy-paste nature of the media makes a reality where the sources of truth are disappearance in the forest of copies.
The work obtains another dimension when realised that the title itself is a quotation - from one of Borges' fictions.
