Diva Helmy (b. 1993 lives and works in Paris, France) is a conceptual artist from Los Angeles, California. Ideas of identity as performance lie at the heart of her research, driving artistic practices such as sensory video, urban hacking and creative-misuse as strategies to take possession of our online data. Recent works materialize intimate interactions on the web and connect strangers in public space through artistic interventions. Diva is a member of the Graffiti Research Lab France and a senior in the BFA Art, Media and Technology program at Parsons Paris.
