Dacia Gallery has organized and curated exhibitions of contemporary emerging and established artists since opening in September 2010. The gallery exhibits a wide array of mediums from painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and mix media. Our monthly exhibitions present an exceptional portfolio of artists to collectors and art enthusiasts. By taking a fresh approach to curating and exhibition design the gallery presents a new expression of the latest artwork by current contemporary artists. In addition, exhibiting artists are always present at our opening receptions where we invite them to give an artist talk and to meet and greet the admiring public.

Invitation to Artists: Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to participate in this exciting Artist Residency program in New York City. Dacia's Artist Residency provides an academic program to inspire, refine and redefine the creative direction of artists in a figure painting intensive two-week program. The application is open to visual artists worldwide, including all mediums and styles of artwork. We are accepting artists that want to dedicate their time to painting, learning the ins and outs of the New York art world and exploring all the wonderful opportunities that the city has to offer artists. Art classes will alternate between figurative painting and drawing, the business of art, guest speakers and lecturers. We will explore the contemporary art galleries of Chelsea and the Lower East Side and visit the great museums of New York. Additionally, an exhibition and opening reception will be held for the participating resident artists at Dacia Gallery. This is a wonderful opportunity to study and paint in NYC. Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to participate in our Holiday Group Exhibition, this is a big show that we do every December with a huge public response from collectors to media and curators. We are looking for a diverse body of artwork based on the figure and portrait in all mediums and styles, this will be a mixed group show of all figurative artwork created by contemporary artists, exhibiting what they are working on today. This exhibition will be in conjunction with Dacia Gallery figurative artists and a big celebration of figurative art. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artists for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibition, including an Artist Talk during the reception.

Accepted Artwork: Painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, photography, digital art, etc. The artwork can be abstract figures, realistic figurative work, portraits or anything really creative that has something to do with the figure. In other words, all creative culminations are welcome as long as there is a figurative element to it.

Dacia Gallery invites emerging and established artists to submit artwork for an opportunity to have a Month-Long Solo Exhibition this summer. We are looking for new talented artists to exhibit and to possibly represent as well. The gallery will advertise and promote the selected artist for the exhibition and host a formal Opening Reception for the exhibit, including an Artist Talk during the opening reception.

10 Artists will be chosen as finalists for the solo exhibition, they will be announced on the website after the entry deadline, one out of the ten artists will be awarded the solo exhibition. The remaining nine finalists will also be considered for upcoming solo exhibitions in the fall and for group shows as well.
We are actively searching for new talented artists in all media and styles for the upcoming exhibition season.

If you are looking for gallery representation and to have a Solo Show in New York City, submit your art that we may discover your compelling work and present it to the public, gallery directors, curators and collectors.
