Created a physical environment, a two-week studio installation, from which used as a "command module" for the creation of live simultaneous multimedia.Also constructed a user kiosk from which to interface with worldwide collaborators via streaming audio and video.Monitored and implemented live events delivery via internet with the use of text chat,voice/sound,video conferencing "open studio" with relevant web based art embedded into design for extra support materials.

Surface Geographies and the Land Behind Our Eyes: A new cultural geography after connectivity
This is a collaboration between choreographer Sin Cha Hong ,set designer Phillip Baldwin,and technology artist <disneyNASAborg> resulting in a dance performance/new media installation that explores how the global digital economy has impacted local culture and shifted critical paradigms in gender, race, and class. Surface Geographies has just recently received a grant
from the Korea Foundation. The piece points to the potential dangers as well as the potential freedom that telecommunications and new media bring, as the patterns and the boundaries created by the web of telecommunications literally and virtually encircle the performers and the audience.par

Created inflatable replicas of west nile virus mosquito larvae, the dancers performed inside sealed ,then emerged from larvae.Performers suspended from bungee, and by end of performance where flying around environment. Utilizing an all too often "dead space" in the field of vision of the viewer in a traditional stage setup.Real time filming and manipulations of performance we reprojected into environment, and mixed out of the video mixing board for documentation.par
Also developed original artistic video footage of lifecycles of mosquito larvae to be mixed into show.The documentation of each of the versions of these prototypes will be displayed on wnvirus.com and wnvproject.com this summer as part of a massive web project dealing with the serious threat of vector borne viruses in a collosal urban environment such as NYC.

One performer,one mouse,one cursor, one user-investigating the isolationism of the one and how the 2 ones can effectively collaborate via computer.The user during the duration of the show has access to the computer and can drive the sound and audio to his/her desire.

Constructed a 4'x6' mobile garden on wheels. In the middle of the East Village Garden Crisis,on EARTH DAY.Via harness, pulled [garden] ,repetitively, in 30+ square loop---from Houston + Ave C to 14th street and back down 3rd Ave.
Stopped traffic and shared the roadways, dragging the freshness of nature throughout LES. Stirred thought about plight of the future green spaces, especially in the minds of the young, who were bewildered.documented footage was archived on Mindengine.com.

the Kultur Im Spannwerk,in Berlin,Germany for the two-week festival
called the Resonant Wave Festival [ www.resonant-wave.net ].

[MEDIAMIXER] recently exhibited physical and digital works at

This project clearly portrays the three pronged approach of [MM].
To create [1] A physical environment incorporating digital audio/video,the
implementation
of the "Clearpainting series"and inflatable paintings, and computer
controlled interaction.
[2] Perform a live audio/visual set of original compositons and dv,
primarily controlled by
midi-activated hardware and software in realtime.[3] To collaborate with
participating artists
and acquire,shoot,and record source materials to create,design and post an
online "residue"
of events remixed and rejuxtaposed for the world to interface with. We must
utilize the true
potential of the new tools for publication,documentation and distribution of
culturally relevant
art works. Building this new cyber reality is our responsibility
collectively and [MEDIAMIXER]
is doing its best in helping to promote interactive archives of enlightening
artworks for global
participation. We must build as dilligently as the corporations and
"flesh-peddlers",
and secure our future landscapes.
